Borussia Dortmund sign Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi

Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi has joined German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund from Real Madrid.
Dortmund have officially unveiled the 19-year-old on a two season-long loan from Madrid, the club has confirmed.
The German Bundesliga outfit expressed delight in signing the Atlas Lions international and Sporting Director Michael Zork praised the dynamic player.
“Achraf Hakimi is a young, very dynamic full-back who has played at the very highest level with Real Madrid and the Morocco national team,” said Zork.
Hakimi displayed an excellent performance along with the Atlas Lions at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and their participation received applause worldwide.
The young football player made his official debut at the Santiago Bernabeu in October 2017 and became one of Morocco’s most important players as well as proving his worth alongside the Atlas Lions during the 2018 World Cup.
